I had a desire to be an Artist all my life with no knowing where my skills would lead. A Fine Artist, animator, ceramicist, graphic designer, teacher and more.

With a portfolio full of watercolours and pencil drawings from St. Aidan’s Art Classes, I was accepted to study Illustration and Design at Queensland College of Art in 1979. Completing my 3-year course, I landed a job at Channel 10 as a Graphic Artist. In 1984 the station bought a mainframe computer, Quantel Paintbox. I quickly trained from the manual.

In 1985, I was offered a position at Brisbane's Postproduction House, Jumbuck, as Head of Computer Graphics, Animation and Special Effects. Working on advertising, documentaries, and movie special effects for the next decade.

Taking time out to start a family 1995, I attended a ceramic course. It became my next passion, and I entered Art Shows and exhibited at Red Hill Gallery. Soon showing Still Life and Urban Landscapes paintings alongside my ceramics.

Inspired by my area, in 2018, I entered a painting of Red Hill in The Clayton Utz Art Prize and won the People's Choice. Lethbridge Gallery offered me a Solo Show and I've exhibited with them yearly since.

I regularly enter Art Awards and have been a Finalist, won prizes and People's Choice many times. This year I was awarded 1st Prize at the Royal Queensland Art Society's, BLLP Award and Best Acrylic at Brisbane Rotary Art Show.

In 2021, I was Feature Artist at the BGS Art Show, Artist in Residence and have a painting in the BGS Art Collection.

The current Senior School Art Textbook features one of my paintings with process and Didactic.

I work from my home studio painting Urban Landscapes, Still Life and Commissions while continuing with my ceramics I fire in my kiln.

My paintings and ceramics are included in many Australian and International Collections
