In 24 hours, and inspired by a theme that speaks to everything we believe about the young women in our care, our community raised just over $380,000 for Giving Day 2026.
This is an extraordinary result. It is also a deeply meaningful one.
Imagine the Future was more than a campaign theme. It was an invitation to consider what is possible when we look beyond the present moment: to the girls who will walk these grounds in years to come, to the scholarship recipients who might not otherwise have the opportunity to be here, and to the centenary of a school that has shaped the lives of generations of women since 1929. This Giving Day, our community answered that invitation with generosity, conviction, and remarkable collective energy.
Donations directed to the Scholarship Program will make a direct and lasting difference to the young women who receive them. Financial assistance changes the trajectory of a life: it opens doors, widens horizons, and affirms that a St Aidan's education should be defined by potential, not circumstance. Gifts directed to the Centenary Project Building Fund contribute to the physical foundation our school will carry into its second century, ensuring that our campus reflects the ambition we hold for the girls who learn here.
None of this happens without people who give first and give generously. We extend our sincere thanks to the Matching donors whose commitment anchored this campaign and whose collective generosity meant that every dollar donated by our community was tripled on the day: Principal Toni Riordan, the Wang Family, the Walker Family, the Reisner Family, the St Aidan's Foundation, the St Aidan's Old Girls' Association, and the St Aidan's Parents and Friends Association. Your leadership set the tone for everything that followed.
Our gratitude extends equally to every member of this community who gave, shared, encouraged, or simply paused to imagine alongside us. Giving Day is, at its heart, a community endeavour, and ours has demonstrated once again why this school is something special.
If you wish to learn about the impact of your giving, we invite you to read our 2025 Impact of Giving here.
We look forward to sharing more about how your generosity will be put to work, and to the exciting chapter it has helped us begin.
