We’re thrilled to welcome back one of our own, Pippa Sheehan, as the Master of Ceremonies for this year’s Friends and Futures Lunch, proudly hosted by our Foundation and Parents & Friends Association.

Pippa Sheehan is an experienced broadcast journalist and presenter with more than 12 years in television news, specialising in breaking stories and people-focused reporting. A trusted voice in the Australian media landscape, Pippa brings compassion and credibility to every story she tells, with a strong belief in the power of journalism to make a difference.

Outside of the newsroom, Pippa is a proud small business owner and commissioned artist, with her surface pattern designs reaching clients across Australia and overseas. Since 2015, she has also regularly served as MC for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award ceremonies, including events alongside His Royal Highness, Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh.

Pippa and her husband are parents to two young boys and are joyfully expecting their third son in early 2026. After navigating a long and personal journey through miscarriage and early pregnancy loss, Pippa is a passionate advocate for medical research, pregnancy support, and organ donation. She serves as an ambassador for DonateLife Queensland and the Pink Elephants Support Network — cutting her hair live on air in 2022, raising over $12,000.

Pippa also mentors students through school-based programs, proudly helping the next generation envision life beyond the classroom.

Pippa is a seasoned broadcast journalist and presenter with over 12 years in television news, known for her compassionate storytelling and commitment to making a difference. Beyond the newsroom, she’s a small business owner, commissioned artist, and a passionate advocate for pregnancy support and organ donation.

Her warmth, professionalism, and deep connection to our school community make her the perfect host for this special event, an afternoon of entertainment, lunch, and live auctions, all in support of our Centenary Projects.

Join us as we celebrate community, connection, and the future we’re building together.
