Christine is the news and chief sub-editor for Torres News and has been the FNQ correspondent for the Koori Mail since 1995.
She writes and/or edits several newsletters for various organisations and councils, including the Palm Island Voice and Waanta (for the Palm Island and Lockhart River Aboriginal Shire Councils respectively), PPAC News Week (Pormpur Paanthu Aboriginal Corporation, Pormpuraaw), PASC News (Pormpuraaw Aboriginal Shire Council), KASC News (Kowanyama Aboriginal Shire Council), Wuthathi News and Olkola News.
She holds a BA in Geography and Australian Studies, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Communications (Journalism).
Christine loves her “job”, especially when it involves travelling to communities around Cape York, and takes on photography (and driving) work when offered.
