Whilst completing a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) at the University of Queensland I commenced working as a Financial Analyst with Macquarie Bank. I found great satisfaction in the banking industry for 9 years until a significant spinal surgery prompted me to reassess my professional path. It was then that I decided to pursue a Graduate Diploma in Education specialising in Business, Accounting and Mathematics. Following a brief period with Education Queensland an opportunity came up at St Aidan’s, a school that had given me so much during my own educational journey. How could I possibly say no to working in a school where I could give back to the next generation of students?

Now in my 9th year at St Aidan’s, I am delighted that our community continues bring me the same joy I experienced as a student.  I consider myself incredibly lucky that my two daughters, Louisa (Year 11) and Jennifer (Year 8), have the opportunity to attend our fabulous school alongside me.
